"Some songs are in more than one key - make sure you get the one shown".
And we have a winner. Hard to tell who has the cuter smile. Pictures are on our Flickr page.
Grab your music stand, print the songs to the right, and come join us. All ages, skill levels, and acoustic instruments are welcome.
Please note that "Little Deuce Coupe" is in a new key (G) since we last played it, "This Land Is Your Land" is now in 'D'.
Our next Jamz will be Saturday, May 13, 10:30 a.m. at the Carnegie Arts Center, 250 N. Broadway, Turlock. Join us as we strum and sing along to some of our favorite songs. Don't know all the chords? Not a problem, just sing a little louder. Or play your kazoo. We're just here to have fun.
Turlock Uke Jamz is not a club or group. There are no dues. There is nothing to join. Just show up and have a good time. However, we do ask for donations to cover the cost of our meeting place.
Turlock Uke Jamz is a great way to start your weekend. And while you're here, check out the Carnegie's latest exhibits and gift shop, have lunch at one of our fine downtown eateries, or check out the local boutiques and antique shops.
